Pumpkins
We went to Huber's last Sunday which seemed like the hottest sunniest October day - ever. But we still had some fun...
riding a cow...
Jakey & Dad coming down a really long hot slide...
petting and feeding a pony...
sitting in a pile of pumpkins....
more pumpkins....
hayride...well, there wasn't really any hay
it was hot, Jake was thirsty...if only he could figure out how to open it
Bloggin Blues
So obviously I am a terrible blogger when it comes to posting pictures (which is all I do here). Can I Get It For Free is much easier because I just type type type and don't have to find the camera cord, then hook the camera and computer together then upload blah blah blah. I know I am terrible blogger.
However you know when you look at someones blog and that leads you to another blog and another blog. I get on these blog rabbit trails sometime and I have no idea how I got there. Anyway, since I am a terrible blogger I'm going to update my list of blogs to the right. So that if you visit my blog, you won't get bored with my latest posting (or not posting) and you can start your rabbit trail to some interesting websites I have found.
By the way, we DID go to Huber's this weekend and I DO plan to post the pictures...as soon as I find that cord!

Sad Jeep
This weekend we had a little excitement on our way to the trail. There are lots of details but the main idea is that we were trailering the Jeep with Jeremy's truck, and a semi slammed on it's brakes in front of us (going about 70 mph). Jeremy is such a great driver and he swerved into the median. We drove right into the grass but the trailer and Jeep hit a rock wall - the Jeep came loose from the trailer, did a couple flips and landed on it's side, totaled. We only had liability on the Jeep so Jeremy has lost countless hours of work and money on his project. Below is a picture of the Jeep once we got it right side up. RIP big red Jeep.

Meanwhile Jeremy is planning to put bumpers and other random stuff on my Cherokee so he can finish out the wheeling season....

Since Elizabeth has started a blog and she linked to mine (which said my last update was 10 months ago) I decided I better get back on it. Jeremy sent some pictures to my e-mail today, so I don't have to hook the camera up to the computer all that jazz. We are continuing on the deck again. I think since it has a railing it looks more like a deck!
This was at about 10:30 last night. And I think we may be at a stand still (again) until Jeremy's parents come back over with all their power tools
Here is a picture of Jacob with his remote control Jeep. At first he kept throwing his leg up trying to get in, but then he decided he would just turn the wheel
